Hanging Baskets 2026
As you may have noticed, the hanging baskets are beginning to appear around the village, helping to brighten up our streets for the summer months.
This year’s baskets have been partly funded by Longridge Community Association, alongside generous support from The Levenseat Trust. Their contribution has helped us continue this popular community project for everyone to enjoy.
We would also like to thank The Brock Garden Centre in Broxburn for their help in supplying the plants used in the baskets.
A special thank you goes to the children of Longridge Primary School, who helped make up many of the baskets you can now see hanging throughout the village. It was fantastic to have the pupils involved, and we are very grateful for their enthusiasm and hard work.
Community projects like this are only possible thanks to the support of local organisations, volunteers, and residents who care about keeping Longridge looking its best. We hope everyone enjoys the colour the baskets bring to the village over the coming months.
