Who Are We?
Charlie – Chair
Charlie joined the community in 2019 and has been involved ever since. Their favourite events are the Christmas celebrations, which they particularly enjoy being part of each year. Outside of the community, Charlie runs a Scout group—despite never having camped overnight themselves—and enjoys reading as well as arts and crafts.
Carol-Ann – Vice Chair
Carol-Ann first became involved with the committee before 2019 and played an active role, often contributing what felt like full-time hours during busy periods. They were heavily involved with the Community Larder in the hall, helping to manage and support its setup, including the introduction of a fridge and freezer to better accommodate fresh and frozen items.
They don’t have a specific favourite event, but especially enjoy helping in the kitchen during events, where they like meeting people and having a chat. Outside of this, they don’t have one particular hobby, but are known to be quite competitive—especially when it comes to air hockey and swingball.
Gamma – Treasurer
Gemma joined the community in 2021 and first got involved by helping at the Noelle event in November. Their favourite annual event is Summerfest, where they enjoy being part of the team and the atmosphere it brings.
Outside of the community, Gemma enjoys spending time with family and friends, and also has an interest in weight training and keeping active.
Stephen – Secretary
Stephen joined the community in December 2022, with his first event being the Christmas Eve Santa sleigh—now his favourite. He enjoys getting involved in seasonal activities and supporting the local community. Recently, Stephen completed his first marathon and is hoping to take on more in the future.
Jenn – Committee Member
Jenn joined the community in January 2023, with her first event being the Summerfest that year. It remains her favourite annual event, and she enjoys being part of the atmosphere it brings. Outside of the community, Jenn enjoys keeping fit and staying active.
Mikkel – Committee Member
Mike joined the community this year and is looking forward to getting more involved in upcoming events. He has previously supported behind the scenes, helping with preparations such as organising pumpkins and Easter eggs. Mike particularly enjoys the group’s random acts of kindness, and in his spare time, he likes going to the gym.
